First Ride-Along

Yesterday I went on my first ride-along with Officer Richards around Downtown Danville. It was an awesome experience and I learned a lot. We watched for traffic violations and pulled someone over for speeding. It was cool to see police work first hand and what the job exactly entails. I think law enforcement would be a rewarding career where I would learn a lot as well as get to help people and also have a little fun.

  2. Jimmy- My name is Cameron, and I am also an iQuest student enrolled in Cal High. It's so good that you decided to take iQuest, considering going into the class you had several fields of emergency response you were considering going into. Getting experience in these fields helps narrow down the choices and help decide what career you ultimately want to pursue. Going on a ride along sounds like so much fun! Actually being behind the scenes, of any job for that matter, can be a complete game changer and totally shape the way you feel about a certain career. I'm glad to hear that you had such a good experience with law enforcement, and I cant wait to see what field you'll end up in.
